MERMAID MAGIC

I worked on this series created by Iginio Straffi during 2023 as a storyboard artist at Aupa Studio.
The story follows Merlinda, Nersissa and Sasha, three yound mermaids on their quest to collect the Pearls of Neptune and safe Mertropolis.

PLANNING JOB

A lot was expected from the storyboards for “Mermaid Magic”

The series featured complex action scenes as well as a strong focus on comedy, so a full team of storyboard artists, clean - up artists and colorists was created at Aupa Studio in order to achieve the results desired by the client.

I worked in the planning department, preparing rough scenes on a daily basis that later would be discussed with the storyboard director, corrected, and passed onto my colleagues at the clean - up department.

Here are a few of the rough sequences I worked on for season 1.
